As a regular blog reader, I also have subscribed to some interesting blogs via RSS but, usually, I am not able to read my feeds. Instead, I just read the blogs directly. So I would appreciate it if my feeds are sent directly to my email.MailChimp, an email marketing platform, realized this and responded to it well. Advertising in syndicated feeds (RSS) actually went backward when Google shut FeedBurner's native RSS advertising with Adsense ads. The original FeedBurner ads didn't make much money, but according to Allen Stern of Centernetworks that Adsense units gave lower results.ReadWriteWeb is a new tackling RSS advertising in a new way completely.
